Se recomienda leer la parte 1: fundamentos, formada por 7 capítulos y un apéndice que son la base de la anatomía y función nerviosa que le permitirán conocer con detalle la fisiología de la célula nerviosa y de las células glíales. El apéndice es muy recomendable pues permite identificar la áreas del cerebro a través de una guía ilustrada.
